The Arab Scientific Citation and Impact Factor (ARCIF), an initiative of the Ma'rifa database for scientific production and content, released its tenth annual journal report for 2025. Our journal, the Middle Eastern Studies Journal (MESJ), published by the Center for Middle Eastern Studies in Amman, Jordan, successfully met all 32 international ARCIF accreditation standards. Our journal's overall ARCIF impact factor for 2025 was 0.1695. Our journal, specializing in political science, was ranked among 71 Arab journals in the Q3 category —the middle tier —with an average ARCIF of 0.321 for this specialization. This report examined data from approximately 5,500 Arab scientific or research journal titles across various disciplines, published by more than 1,500 scientific or research bodies in the Arab world. Only 1,272 scientific journals were accredited in accordance with ARCIF's international standards in the 2025 report.
