The editorial board of the journal does not tolerate scientific plagiarism under any circumstances. To this end, the following policies have been established, outlining specific procedures upon detecting any form of plagiarism in the scientific material submitted for publication:
-
All research papers submitted for publication are examined using a plagiarism detection software, Plagscan, adopted by the journal, or Turnitin. Plagiarism percentages are handled as follows:
- 0-5%: Accepted without researcher review.
- 5%-20%: Accepted, provided the plagiarism report is reviewed by the editorial management, and the scientific material is returned to the researcher if necessary.
- 20% or more: Not accepted for publication. It is sent back to the researcher to reduce the plagiarism percentage to below 20%. However, if the high percentage of plagiarism is due to the use of statements, documents, or professional laws within the scientific material, a reassessment may be made under this consideration.
- In case of confirmed plagiarism, the editorial management is responsible for informing the author officially through a formal letter.
- Plagiarism also includes "the use or imitation of another author's language and ideas and presenting them as original and personal work."
- Authors of scientific material must specify the Quotations from any source as different from the original text submitted for publication by using quotation marks and specifying the source.
