As part of the publications of the Middle East Studies Center/Jordan and in cooperation with the Jordan Foundation for Research and Information, issue 109 of the "Middle Eastern Studies" journal was published for the Autumn of 2024, and it addressed multiple and current topics and issues in the Arab world and the Middle East. The issue included an editorial article entitled "Don't Trust Israel!", and also contained two peer-reviewed studies: "The Implications of External Alliances on Official Iraqi Policies", which discussed the problem of the external connections of Iraqi political components and their impact on official Iraqi policies, and the emergence of "sectarian, ethnic and national quota" democracy, to become a fundamental factor in shaping the Iraqi political system. The second study, “The Repercussions of the Instability of the International System on the Middle East", discussed the repercussions of the transformations of the international system on the Arab regional system, and the extent of the potential risks and repercussions facing the Arab region. The issue also included Seven scientific reports "The Israeli Annexation and Settlement Policies in the West Bank And its Implications on Jordanian National Security", "The Map of the Military and Civil Conflict and its Alliances in Sudan", "The Arab Countries' Positions Towards the Israeli War on Gaza and its Repercussions", "The Royal Designation Letter to Dr. Jaafar Hassan 2024", " The Developments of Jordanian economic indicators 2019-2023", " Academic Symposium Report - MESC Annual Symposium Trends of Transformations in the Arab World 2025-2035", "The Crisis of Political Reform and Democratic Transformation in the Arab World" The issue also included a chronological report:" Battle off Al-Aqsa Flood 1/2- 31/3/2024". The issue concluded with a bibliographic file on "Tranquility negotiations between Hamas and Israel", including Arabic and English references. The Journal of Middle Eastern Studies is a refereed quarterly journal specializing in short-term transformations that cannot be covered by long studies and research. (109) issues have been published until the fall of 2024. This latest issue is (210) pages long, and its price is (3:00 JD) inside Jordan, and ($6:00) outside Jordan.
