In the first section of this report, the first section analyzes Israeli expansionist behavior by defining the concept and explaining its inputs, the factors influencing it, and its motivations. These motivations include religious and ideological motivations based on biblical texts and military and security motivations related to Israeli national security, as they claim. They also include economic motivations associated with the pursuit of water resources, agricultural land, and energy, and, finally, political motivations seeking to redraw the map of the Middle East.
The second section of the report examines indicators of Israeli expansionist behavior, particularly toward Syria and Lebanon. These include theoretical and ideological indicators, such as extremist party statements and platforms, and practical indicators, including military attacks and the occupation of certain territories for geographical expansion.
The third and final section of the report examines the impact of Israeli expansionist behavior and its repercussions on Arab national security. Israel seeks to impose a fait accompli that achieves its political, security, economic, and demographic strategies at the expense of Arab national security, particularly in neighboring countries—the confrontation states of Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan.
