This report covers the discussions of the special seminar held by the Middle East Studies Center on February 2, 2025, in Amman, entitled "Jordan and the Threats of Displacement (Transfer) of the Palestinian People and How to Confront." The attendees included distinguished guests and experts.
The report reviews the main themes addressed by the seminar: the philosophy of the Zionist theory of "transfer," the position of the theory in the programs and orientations of the current right-wing government and the programs of Israeli political parties, and the demographic, geographic, and political implications for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The strategies, procedures, and approaches to confront such plans at the political, diplomatic, strategic, and legal levels are discussed.
The seminar concluded that the threat of the transfer of the Palestinian people from Gaza and the West Bank to Jordan is serious. It also concluded that Jordan can contain such trends at different levels and has the power to confront any actual actions by Israel in this regard. It called for a comprehensive national strategy to address the risks of such displacement and strengthen the domestic front.
Moreover, it recommended developing Jordanian foreign policy and diplomatic options to contain Israeli behaviors and modernizing the structure of national institutions to enable them to confront various threats and challenges this plan poses to Jordan. It also called for building a unified Arab position and coordinating between Arab armies to develop joint military strategies to deal with the Israeli army if needed.

Keywords: Jordan, Palestine, Israel, Palestinian displacement, ethnic cleansing, Israeli threat, Zionist project, transfer theory, Gaza, West Bank.
